ZARK EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM
The Project’s mission is to nurture the generation driven by national ideals and classical virtues. We teach kids decision making skills in extreme situations, instill responsibility for their own decisions, as well as reveal leadership qualities and facilitate teamwork.
ZARK trains teenagers aged between 10-17. The lessons take place three times a week and include both indoor classes and outdoor activities. ZARK also organizes annual competitions, occasional events, pilgrimages, group discussions and master classes.
ZARK EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM INCLUDES։
ZARK currently runs in Yerevan and in several regions of Armenia. Our final goal is to be accessible for every single child in Armenia. (ZARK is also training kids in several orphanages).
Every year ZARK is opening new branches due to the high interest and motivation shown by teens across the country.
To provide the necessary equipment for a newly opened group as well as to maintain the ongoing costs ZARK has established a scholarship system. This allows sponsors to pay for certain children`s yearly education and participation at ZARK.
Yearly cost of one kid’s education is 250.000 AMD. We ask sponsors to provide scholarships to cover these costs.
ZARK educational program has launched several new branches alongside its ongoing group trainings in 2024. Specifically, the quantity of existing groups in Yerevan and the Shirak area have doubled.
With similar-minded organisations, a number of events and local competitions were organised; ZARK students participated in "Bardzunk 2024" and the "David-Bekyan Games".
Additionally, 202 kids participated in a 10-day camping. Students got the chance to meet numerous ZARK supporters face-to-face and exchange impressions during the camp. They also had the chance to showcase the information, skills, and knowledge they had gained while taking part in the program.
