Davitbek Games is a competition-festival organized by the non-governmental organization of the same name, which brings together the military-patriotic organizations of Armenia and the educational institutions that value military-patriotic education.

The goals of the Davitbek Games are:

• To increase the patriotic spirit of the public,
• To promote the physical training of young people, the development of tactical skills, the appreciation of cultural, spiritual and historical values,
• Create a platform for the cooperation of Armenian military-patriotic organizations, educational institutions, sports teams,
• Create a competition-festival that will promote patriotism and interest in Syunik.

The first games were held in the summer of 2022, in the Baghaberd camp of the Kapan community. 8 teams participated in the first games: VOMA Kapan, VOMA Vanadzor, VOMA Goris, ZARK Chghjik, ZARK Hovaz, ZARK DOC, POGA, Mkhitar Sebastasi educational complex.

The second games were held in the summer of 2023, in the Vanek camp of the Kapan community, where our partners had created all the necessary camp infrastructure for the participants. This year, 10 teams took part in the games: ZARK DOC, ZARK Team, VOMA Kapan, Berd , Hay Martik NGO, Children in Regions NGO, Tatev community team, Goris Real School and Tigran Mets School represented with two teams.

The enthusiasm of the participants and partners confirms our belief that the games should be annual. That is why we have started preparations for the 2024 competition-festival with the aim of making it more massive next year, including 12 teams.

From the beginning, we were lucky to cooperate with reliable partners, among whom we would like to especially mention the Amrots National Development Fund, which undertook the financing of the organization of the Davitbek Games 2022, and the Kapan municipality, which provided the sports and cultural infrastructures under its jurisdiction free of charge. .

A part of the 2023 Games budget was also financed by the Amrots National Development Fund, and we were able to raise the other part through a crowdfunding campaign.

Thanks to all of your support, we were able to hold the second Davitbek Games competition-festival and with the same faith we are starting fundraising for the 2024 Davitbek Games.
